Ijen blue fire tour,will be start in the midnight. Pick up from accommodation (Hotel or Homestay) in banyuwangi city or bali island. One of the most popular place to visit and to do,during holiday in indonesia and java island. You can find blue fire,only 2 places in the world,ijen crater and ethiopia.
IMPORTANT NOTICE :
We would like to inform you,that blue fire program is currently unavailable,due to ongoing gas pipe repairs. This has resulted in a daily decline in sulfur production. We will start the tour program at 4 AM in the morning,for trecking and panorama program.
Where you can find blue flame?
You have to go to java island,and go to the town it’s call Banyuwangi. Only 1 hour sail from bali island,by ferry from bali port (Gilimanuk) go to java island port (Ketapang). From banyuwangi town,you need to drive about 1 hour and 15 minutes,to go to parking area of ijen crater it’s called paltuding.
ITINERARY PROGRAM :
- Pick up from accommodation in banyuwangi city at 00.30 AM,and then drive to paltuding parking area about 1 hour or 1 hour and 15 minutes.
- Start to trekking at 02.00 AM from parking area untill blue fire area,about 1 hour and 45 minutes.
- Do not stay at blue fire area longer,because still one of dangerous area a lot of smoke from sulfur (smell so bad like rotten egg,and toxic).
- Back to the top of volcano again to enjoy panorama and sunrise.
- After enjoy panorama and sunrise,back to the parking area again while you’r driver waiting over there.
- Drive back to the accommodation (Hotel or Homestay) and the tour finish.
