IJEN CRATER / KAWAH IJEN :
Ijen Crater has altitude 2386 meters above sea level,and very unique active volcano in java island. Massive content of sulfur area,and one of the biggest acid lake in the word.
● The Rare Blue Fire: High-pressure sulfuric gases escape from cracks in the volcano at temperatures exceeding 600°C. When these gases hit the oxygen-rich air, they ignite into brilliant, electric-blue flames that are only visible in the pitch darkness of night.
● The Turquoise Acid Lake : As dawn breaks, the blue flames fade to reveal the world’s largest highly acidic crater lake. The water is a striking, surreal turquoise color due to the extreme acidity and dissolved metals.The Sulfur Miners: During your trek down into the crater, you will pass local miners who manually carry baskets of solid yellow sulfur weighing up to 50 kg up and out of the steep crater rocky paths.
MADAKARIPURA WATERFALL :
One of the most spectacular natural wonders in East Java area. It is widely celebrated as the tallest waterfall in Java Island,and second tallest in Indonesia,because it has a height of approximately 200 meters.
● Unlike typical waterfalls that pour from a single stream, Madakaripura is shaped like a deep, cylindrical canyon. As you walk through the gorge, water drips and sprays from the mossy cliffs above, making it feel like you are walking through a perpetual room of rain.
● At the very end of the trail lies a breathtaking, hidden chamber where the primary 200-meter waterfall thunders down into a deep blue pool. The towering, circular stone walls are covered in vibrant green moss and ferns, blocking out most of the sky and creating an incredibly mystical atmosphere.

ITINERARY PROGRAM :
- DAY 1 :
Our driver will pick you up in surabaya area (Airport,Train station,Hotel) and drive to madakaripura waterfall about 2 hours.Afterward you can explore madakaripura waterfall with local guide about one and half hours.
After from waterfall,you need to drive again about 1 hour to go to accommodation near by Mount bromo area. You can ask the driver,if you want to stop to have a lunch on the way,before go to madakaripura waterfall. Afterward,you will stay 1 night and free program.
- DAY 2 :
The tour program will be start at 03.00 AM in the morning. The jeep driver will be wait in the front of your accommodation,and then drive to panorama and sunrise parking area about 25 minutes.Afterward you can walk to the sunrise point about 15 minutes as well.
After enjoy sunrise and panorama over there,and then back to the jeep parking area again.Afterward you can drive to the sea of sand parking area,and walk to the rim of bromo mountain.You don’t have to stay longer,because would be so many people there.Back to jeep parking area again,and drive to the accommodation for breakfast,take shower,etc.You can decide with you’r tour guide,about what time do you want to check out from hotel and drive to the next accomodation near by Ijen Crater area will be takes 6 hours drive. You can stop by to have a lunch. Arrive in accomodation,relax and Free program.
- DAY 3 :
Wake up early in the night,and be ready for ijen crater tour. Because you have to start very early in the midnight. You need 1 hour to drive to go parking area Ijen Crater,from accommodation.The gates will be open at 2 am. You only need to treeking from the gates until blue fire area,about 1 hour 30 minutes. Afterward,you don’t have to stay longer in blue fire area because still dangers area and so many people would be coming.
Come back again to the rim of vulcano,wait until the sunrise and enjoy panorama and sunrise from the top. After enjoy panorama at ijen crater,come back again to the parking area while you’r driver waiting over there.Drive back to the accomodation for breakfast,take a shower etc.You can decide with you’r tour guide,about what time do you want to check out from hotel. Drive to the place where we drop you off and bromo ijen from surabaya tour finish.
IMPORTAND NOTICE FOR IJEN CRATER :
● Many local tour guide create bluefire/blueflame,burning sulfur by them self.
● Visitors descending into the crater must maintain a minimum safety distance of 500 meters from the sulfur mining area.
● The visibility of the blue fire is not guaranteed, as it depends on weather conditions and gas/mining activity.
● One think you should know. At the moment,bluefire program are impossible to do. There’s no real bluefire again,because the miners want to produce more sulfur.
